FOOD IS FUEL IF YOU’RE A CYCLIST!

In the rearground you can see a petrol station for refuelling cars and, as a cyclist, my favourite refuelling point, fast food restaurant Karachi Fried Chicken.

At Karachi Fried Chicken I can refuel with a Lamb Tikka kebab on fresh naan and a cup of tea for £4.50 whereas it would cost the BMW in the foreground £86 to fill it's tank with petrol or almost £90 if it's diesel. I think the BMW is a 3 series convertible (though if any motoring buff knows better please feel free to correct me)which costs around the £35,000 mark to buy new or to put it bluntly, 1,000 times as much as the £35 I paid for my bike which you can also see in the foreground.

It's worth noting that a bicycle invariably gets along this road quicker than a car in the rush hour, but it should also be noted that it's much safer to filter past the cars by going down the middle of the road than it is to pass them on the kerb side, especially if you're coming from the Stratford Road end.

Karachi Fried Chicken was converted into a hamburger joint for a rap scene in the Penny Woolcock film 1 Day

converted to single speed, all I need to do is take the rear cassette apart and put spacers in and get a chain tensioner. Though it rides quite nicely the way it is...

Kona Hahanna frame
Project Two forks
Velocity stem
random seatpost of death
Kona seat with cover/foam ripped off down to the shell (with cuts made and holes drilled to make it flex a little better)
random Shimano drive train
unknown brake with shimano Altus brake lever
$20 wheels I bought at some local shop, got a whole bike out of it including the awesome Cinelli seat on my road bike.
